Style: Carpet with Sisal

  • Upon reaching the summit of the Rangitoto Triple Tree, your cat will undoubtedly feel like the regal ruler of their domain, vigilantly observing their loyal subjects (that's you!). This climbing structure boasts easy-to-navigate steps, ensuring that cats of all abilities can ascend to their royal throne with ease.

One of the posts on this unit is wrapped in durable sisal, providing a designated spot for your cat to unleash their instinctual need to scratch and claw. This thoughtful feature helps protect your furniture and belongings from any feline-induced damage.

The Rangitoto Triple Tree combines style, functionality, and the promise of a lofty perch for your cat to survey their kingdom, making it a must-have addition to your home.

THE BESTEST EVER

I cannot rave enough about this cat tree. Having a giant Maine Coon meant I needed something very sturdy. Beautiful craftsmanship, the carpet gives it such nice look it fits beautifully in my lounge. And the 3 levels accommodate all of my fur babies. Absolutely fantastic product, locally made, top quality. Very very happy. It’s worth it every cent.

Favourite sleeping place

We purchased the Rangitoto cat tree for our 4m kitten. He initially couldn't jump up, but now he can jump straight up to the second level. (His muscles have developed, and he's getting stronger.) He loves playing on it and falls asleep on the top level. Because it's his favourite piece of furniture, we move it between rooms and houses. It's solidly built too. We're very happy with this piece and will be returning customers.

Impressive Product

This product is impressive … streaks ahead of similar products and I’ve tried a few ! I have big cats! It’s robust, stable and very well made. It’s stylish and well proportioned. But give this company a 200% for packaging and delivery. It had to travel the length of the country and the detail in the packaging meant it arrived in mint condition. So impressed… Well done to the whole team. P.S my visitor’s have been impressed too. Happy to recommend this product! Great Service.

Great, sturdy, perfect!!!

It is made to last and it is great for big cats. My cat love it. I only wish that the middle platform was a bit bigger since my cat is quite big.

Quality NZ made cat tower

The Rangitoto cat tower is so well made - solid, sturdy and it's finished beautifully so it looks great in my living area. My cat took to it immediately and loves it - even better, he straight away used the scratching pole! I particularly appreciated the excellent customer service I received and thoroughly recommend purchasing from ComfyPet.

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

All your questions answered

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
