When in use, the mat will maintain its cooling properties for approximately 1hr depending upon the environment. To reset the mats cooling properties simply leave unused for 1hr, there is no need to freeze or refrigerate.
The Scruffs® Cool Mat can be used alone, with an existing pet bed or in a pet carrier. To clean the mat simply wipe the cover with a cloth and soapy water, then rinse with clean water before use.

Great Cooling Mat for the cats. One of them tries to attack the writing on it with his claws so unfortunately he gets removed, the other loves it. Good size and you can feel the difference in temperature straight away.

My lovely greyhound adores your cool mats. She is jet black and feels the heat, so keeping her cool is a 24/7 job! Once she learnt they weren't going to fly off with her on it, she gradually slid a bit more and a bit more of her lanky frame onto this UFO and then....BLISS! Her kind mum bought her another one, because everyone knows greyhounds love multiple beds in multiple rooms. So now she just moves from cool mat to cool mat. Life is sweet.
