Katz steps 2

Both myself and my cats are delighted with this product
I am in the middle of decorating my husbands bedroom as he has gone into care,I wanted something the cats could sit on and look out the window
It has been a hit with them taking turns.

Lilly is as pleased as Lilly gets

I bought these stairs for my elderly Himalayan cat to reach her water fountain. Despite the look on her face (that’s just her face) she seems to like the stairs and spends quite a bit of time just sitting on them. I also have the Chicago for my big ragdoll. These products are definitely worth the money because they are very sturdy and do not wobble at all, even when climbed all over by hefty children.

Scratched carpet no more

We tried everything to get our cat to stop destroying our stair carpet, the cattery we use (keepin katz) recommended this product after our cat used it on their stay. It is AWESOME! she loves it, it's sturdy and well made and actually looks kinda cool hanging out on our stairs. Top product thank you

Love KatAttck

Awesome company with great product, good communication & prompt delivery. One of my cats had a significant accident a few years ago resulting in a smashed pelvis and legs and multiple dislocations. Hours of surgeries later, hip removal, plates & pins we were told she’d likely never jump again. She’s a fighter & proved everyone wrong. She occasionally needs a little helping hand and the katattack trees have been amazing, so much so we now have 3. My boy is getting on a bit in age and now also frequently uses them. Thank-you

Best thing I have bought for my cat

Great service and extremely fast turn around for a customised product. Zoe (a naughty tortie) loves it. She uses it to survey her kingdom outside the window.

A safer way to access the top of another piece of furniture

This is the third comfypet perch I have bought. I bought this online and appreciated getting to specify the colour and post covering. The item is square and sturdy. Although designed as a way for cats to look out the window, I am using it as a transition from a short to a taller shelf.

The very best cat furniture

I am a volunteer buyer for a animal humane nonprofit organisation, and I've been in this "business" here in NZ and previously in America for many decades. Comfypet's feline furniture products are by far the best quality I have ever encountered, and I've been searching out and purchasing cat trees and cat scratching posts for yonks. SO GLAD I found Comfypet, and I've already lost count of the number of these KatAttack Steps V2 that I've purchased for our foster cats and kittens. It fits perfectly inside the large holding pen that we use for initial fostering until our orphaned kittens are socialised and ready for adoption. Thank you, Comfypet!

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

From Scratch to Finish: The Superior Raw Materials of Our Cat Scratchers

Triboard
The cornerstone of our 10-Year Structural Warranty is the base and landings of our Cat Trees, constructed from 100% sustainable New Zealand Radiata pine. This material not only meets rigorous quality and environmental standards, but its stability offers unparalleled load-bearing and screw-holding capabilities. While it may be more costly, we view this as an essential investment in the longevity of our Cat Trees, especially given the current high demand.

Pine Poles
Our upright poles, the backbone of our Cat Trees, are built from solid 100mm thick New Zealand pine. The carpeting on these poles is firmly glued and stapled, allowing for longevity and easy recovery even after your cat has extensively used the surface. This feature ensures that our products are both sustainable and extendable over time.

Carpet
Our choice of carpet material prioritises your cat's safety and comfort. We exclusively use cut pile carpets, which are less likely to catch your cat's claws compared to loop pile varieties. Many of the high-quality carpets we utilise are locally sourced from New Zealand. For example, the Cavalier Bremworth carpet, which can cost upwards of $300 per linear meter, is extensively used in our products. In fact, our popular New Yorker model requires more than 2.25 linear meters of this carpet.

Sisal
Our top-quality, maritime-grade Sisal is carefully hand-wound onto our uprights, secured with industrial staples for maximum durability. Crafted to withstand even the most ambitious feline with a fierce spirit, our Sisal proves to be the strongest available on the market. So, for cats that channel their inner tiger, we say: let the scratching games begin!

All your questions answered

Colours and Extras

Within the shopping cart's section, there is a box in which you can enter your request. Let us know if you like a colour that you have seen on any of our other models, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to have that colour applied to this model.

Because we construct each of our trees in-house, we are able to fulfil the majority of our customers' needs. There is a possibility that this will incur additional costs, however we will tell you of these costs before we construct your unit.

Once more, this is something that we are able to perform for an additional fee. You can send us an email with your request, and we will respond with a price estimate.

That is dependent upon your feline friend. Sisal is durable enough to survive the claws of a cat for many months or even years. Nevertheless, some felines like the plusher texture of carpet.

Delivery

If you choose one of our bigger cat trees, it may take a bit longer to arrive as these units are made to order. Your tracking information will be sent to you immediately after your item/s are shipped. To transport them around New Zealand, for our larger trees we strap and pack them on pallets once they've left our factory you will be contacted by our bulk freight company.

Absolutely not! Each of our cat trees is shipped out of our factory in a completely built state. Once our cat trees have been delivered, you will not need to screw or glue them together.

We do, and we've already sent New Yorkers to Australia. It is not cheap, and you must email us with your address to receive a firm quote. The cost of shipping a New Yorker to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide by sea is around $1227.35.

We do not pass on the complete cost of freight because it is prohibitively expensive to ship huge cat trees within New Zealand. Consider that transporting a New Yorker to your location would be similar to sending a sizable refrigerator there.

Recovering my old scratcher

Yes, if it's one of our own. If it's possible to bring it to our facility, we can usually have it restored to its original condition within a week. A fee will be charged if you live in Auckland and want us to pick up and drop off.

Depending on the model, most cat trees only require the uprights to be refurbished. Single posts typically range between $40 and $70, and large cat trees require an email with a photo so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.

We are unable to do so due to the fact that the vast majority of scratching posts sold in pet stores are constructed of cardboard, which makes it difficult for our carpet to adhere to.
